Jeep has announced the Wrangler 4xe Backcountry 2025, a limited edition focused on technology and off-road performance.

Based on the Wrangler 4xe Sahara, the model retains the 375 hp plug-in hybrid engine and 470 lb-ft of torque, adding new features such as a nine-speaker Alpine sound system and a portable power unit that allows users to charge devices using the vehicle’s battery.

The 12.3-inch screen offers integrated navigation, guides for 62 off-road trails, and a geocaching app, as well as onboard Wi-Fi.

To tackle difficult terrains, the Backcountry receives upgrades such as steel bumpers, rock sliders, and a front trail camera. It comes with matte black 20-inch wheels and General Grabber 275/55R-20 all-terrain tires for better grip.

Its design includes exclusive decals, a body-colored removable hardtop, and a tow package with hitch and wiring harness.

Ideal for those seeking adventure without sacrificing connectivity, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Backcountry will be produced in a limited run of 5,800 units, with a starting price of $66,185, about $6,595 more than the 4xe Sahara.
